The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) proposed to add five new types of genetic modifications a plant can contain and be exempt from the biotech regulations for the movement of organisms modified or produced through genetic engineering. By and for the People responds!

By and for the People organization submitted a response to APHIS's Proposed Exemptions: Movement of Organisms Modified or Produced through Genetic Engineering. The public comment period was extended three times (a little insight). Our response has yet to be recorded and published online, but it's only a matter of time until it's made accessible to the public to view.
