The By and for the People organization officially submitted a written comment responding to the Department of the Interior's solicitation to update the Environmental Justice Strategic Plan. Our comment was submitted to Environmental_Justice@ios.doi.gov on Dec 15th, 2023,

Comment Period Ended: Jul 21, 2025 for responding to "advising the public that the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service has prepared a revised draft environmental impact statement (EIS) and revised draft plant pest risk assessment (PPRA) evaluating the potential environmental impacts and plant pest risk that may result from the approval of a petition for nonregulated status for blight-tolerant American chestnut. Dear community, With Joe Biden's administration recently claiming to have conserved 674 million acres, I urgently write this message with great concern for the future of the United States and humanity. For 12 years, I have followed our federal government's actions on the topic of biotechnology in our food and public lands in the name of "climate change." The goal of this organization is to start public communication on those federal efforts that are underway and that are currently receiving billions in funding.
